Delivery Kits and Baby clothes for Our Mum by Global Health Promise
Global Health Promise recently distributed delivery kits and baby clothes to expectant mothers as part of their Maternal Health project in Abia State. This initiative, held in collaboration with local health authorities, aimed to support vulnerable mothers by providing essential items needed for safe childbirth.
The delivery kits included basic but crucial supplies such as sterile gloves, antiseptic wipes, and umbilical cord clamps, all designed to promote safe deliveries and reduce the risk of infections. Additionally, the baby clothes were distributed to ensure that newborns have warm, clean garments immediately after birth.
This effort is part of Global Health Promise's broader mission to improve maternal and child health in underserved areas. By addressing the immediate needs of mothers and newborns, the project not only supports safe deliveries but also contributes to the overall well-being of families in the region. The initiative has been met with gratitude from the community, reflecting its positive impact on maternal health.
