Unique Royal Sisters Lead for Deprived Women and Girls Initiative

 (UNIQUE SISTERS) is a non-governmental / non-political, peer-led community-based organization, that targets Female sex workers (FSW), Women who use drugs, Orphans & Vulnerable Children (OVC), Lesbian Bisexual Queer women (LBQ Women), Girls and other vulnerable marginalized people with the aim of improving their sexual and reproductive health and right to help them overcome stigma & discrimination and make informed decisions about their sexuality and health.

Unique Royal Sisters Lead for Deprived Women and Girls Initiative is currently implementing Access Project on HIV intervention among FSW in Abia State on the PEPFAR & CDC grant to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria entitled “Accelerated Control Epidermic Sustainability (ACESS) Project” with the grant name: ACC/ URSLDWGI/23/35, through CARITAS Nigeria as the Principal recipient (PR)  to support implementation of the grant as a Community Based Organizations (CBOs) targeting key population (KP) FSW community outreaches and mobilization interventions. We also implemented the Global Health Promise project on Maternal Health to reduce the incidence of mortality rate among Pregnat FSW and their children in Abia State

 We implemented Global Fund NFM3 HIV intervention among FSW in Abia State on the Global Fund  grant to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria entitled “National Alignment for HIV Impact (NAHI) Project” with the grant name: GFH/ URSLDWGI/23/35, through Family Health International (FHI360) as the Principal recipient (PR) and Society for Family Health (SFH) as the Sub recipient (SR) to support implementation of the grant as a Community Based Organizations (CBOs) targeting key population (KP) FSW community outreaches and mobilization interventions.
